Ceritas ("Ceritas", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit Ceritas.co / Ceritas.com.au (the "Site"), subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, create an account or purchase products from us.
 

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Although Ceritas is based in Australia, our Site is accessible globally, and this policy applies to all visitors regardless of where they are located.

Who we are
 

Ceritas is a science-focused health and nutrition media brand that publishes independent, evidence-based analysis of health products, including laboratory testing results, and that may sell selected products. Ceritas is operated by CERITAS PTY LTD Australian company.

We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, and information that is collected automatically when you use the Site.
 

Information you provide to us, including:
 

  • Your name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter;

  • Your name, email address and the contents of your message when you contact us through our enquiry form or by email;

Payment information. When you make a purchase, your payment is processed by a third-party payment provider [e.g. Stripe, Shopify Payments or PayPal]. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on our own systems. Your payment is subject to the privacy policy of the relevant payment provider.

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device information, operating system, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the website you came from.
